Who we are
Dougie Joyce, trading as 3D Fight Club ("3DFC", "we"), running events in association with Last Man Standing Promotions Ltd. We decide how the details you give this website are used, which makes us the data controller.
Anything about your data goes to [email protected].
What we hold, why, and for how long
| What | Why | Legal basis | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mailing list: your name, email, and the time and wording you agreed to | To send ticket releases and event news | Your consent | Until you unsubscribe, then deleted |
| Orders for tickets, pay per view and replays: email, phone if you give it at checkout, what you bought, any fighter you chose to support, when you agreed to the terms | To sell and deliver what you bought, let you in, deal with problems, and count each fighter's ticket sales | Contract with you. Legal obligation for tax records | Six years after the end of the tax year, as HMRC requires |
| Merch orders: your name, delivery address, email, phone if you give it, what you bought, and when it was posted | To post your order, tell you it is on its way, and deal with returns | Contract with you. Legal obligation for tax records | Six years after the end of the tax year, as HMRC requires |
| Ticket codes, whether each has been scanned and when, at the door. Stream access links and when they expire | Entry on the door and access to the stream | Contract with you | With the order |
| Fighter sign ups: name, fight name, phone, email, town, gym, weight class, style, how many fights so far, footage link, who you want to fight and why, that you are 18 or over, and our own notes | To consider you for a bout and get in touch | Our legitimate interest in matchmaking, and steps you asked us to take | Two years, then deleted. Sooner if you ask |
| Fighters selling tickets: your name, a PIN, and your sales count | So you can see your sales and we can pay what you earned | Contract with you | While you are on a 3DFC card, plus six years for payment records |
| Contact and sponsor enquiries: name, email, business, message | To answer you | Our legitimate interest in replying | As long as the conversation needs, no more than two years |
| A scrambled code made from your IP address (the address itself is never stored) | To stop spam, repeat votes and people guessing staff codes | Our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure | Seconds for votes and forms, up to fifteen minutes after a wrong staff code |
Round votes on the live scorecard and votes on the callout board are anonymous tallies. They are not linked to you.
We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing. Nothing from a fighter sign up is ever shown on the site.
Who else handles it
A few companies run parts of the site for us. They only use your details to do that job:
- Square takes card payments. We never see or store your card number. Square handles your payment under its own privacy notice.
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the pay per view stream.
- Resend sends our emails, such as your tickets and stream link.
- Proton hosts our inbox, [email protected].
- YouTube plays archive fight videos, but only after you press play. Until then nothing loads from YouTube.
Some of these companies store data in the United States. Where that happens the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations, including the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the company is certified, or by the ICO's standard contract terms. Proton stores data in Switzerland, which the UK treats as adequate.
Your browser
We set no cookies and run no advertising or tracking. The site keeps a few small notes in your own browser so it works properly: your pay per view access, which rounds you have already scored, which callouts you have voted on, and for this visit only, the fighter link you arrived through. None of it is sent to us or used to identify you. Clearing your browser data removes it. Square's checkout page and YouTube, if you press play, set their own cookies under their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold on you, ask us to correct it, delete it, stop using it or hand it over in a usable format, and you can object to how we use it. If we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, and for the mailing list that is as simple as the unsubscribe page. Email [email protected] and we will answer within one month. Some records, such as orders, we have to keep for tax law even if you ask us to delete them.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Under 18s
3DFC events and this site are for over 18s. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone younger, and delete them if we find we have.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date at the top.
